Fear not the tenebrous! The Grotto is a six week class designed to allow you to explore the endless possibilities that arise when the lights go out! With only your voice at your disposal, you’ll work on active listening, enhanced communication, character, soundscapes, scene painting, editing (and more!) by way of montage and other longform formats. Students will emerge from The Grotto and into the light with a new set of skills and knowledge to bring into their everyday improv!

Experience ultimate freedom of play from the comfort of your seat -embrace the abyss! 

Acessibility: Though much of the work in this class will take place seated, there will be standing and around-the-room exercises involved as well. Students will NOT be expected to sit in the dark for the duration of class.

Note: This is an in-person class located at 3706 or 3716 rue Notre-Dame Ouest. Each space has a stairwell with handrails on both sides and each bathroom is not wheelchair accessible. Registrants will receive an email with instructions on where to go the day before class begins.
