Whet your appetite for scripted comedy with this 6-week class! Sketch It! focuses on generating strong premises, writing with focus & rewriting based on in-class feedback, all in a fun and collaborative environment! Students will also work on rehearsing and performing the sketches written for class to produce a one-hour fully fledged graduation sketch show at the end of their 6 weeks together!

Students should be prepared to devote time outside of class to working on projects, as well as share their work in class.

This class is taught by Kyle Allatt- an actor, improviser, and theatrical technician with over 27 years of professional experience. Usually found in the tech booth pressing buttons, Kyle has been a mainstay of Montreal Improv for over a decade now. His favourite metal is tin.

Notes:

A dress rehearshal the day of the show is also required.

Saturdays 11am-1pm March 1st - April 5th with Kyle Allatt (Grad show Saturday April 5th at 7pm)

This is an in-person class located at 3706 or 3716 rue Notre-Dame Ouest. Each space has a stairwell with handrails on both sides and each bathroom is not wheelchair accessible.
