AN INTRODUCTION TO CLASSICAL THEATRE: IMPROVISED

Come along on a highly undistinguished journey through classical theatrical works , where all the culture and refinement of classical theatre stands to be emulsified as a team of improvisers take on a classic play. After a brief live table read, our ensemble of improvisers will dive headfirst into a wild, unscripted adventure. Here’s where it gets exciting: until the scripts are placed in their hands, our brave cast will have no idea which play they will be reading from-- and neither will you!

From Shakespeare to Shaw, Williams to Wilde, no playwright’s works are safe. (They’re all dead, anyway, so what does it matter?)

Will the scripted and the spontaneous collide in a theatrical explosion of epic proportions, or will a beloved classical play be bastardised beyond recognition? Join us Friday, July 21st at 9:30pm to bear witness!
