Monoscene

Sometimes referred to as an improvised one-act play, the Monoscene will help you work on world-building and compelling characters to setup a longform set, typically taking place in a singular location. Learn how to deepen character relationships and dynamics, and take on the challenge of keeping audiences engaged with your established characters and location for the entirety of your set. This class will focus on slower, more grounded scenework to sustain two-person slice-of-life monoscenes in a more dramatic approach that allows the comedy of the everyday to blossom naturally.
