Hosting a comedy show isn’t easy. Should you be funny? How funny? You don’t want to overshadow the performers, right? What should you do with your hands? Oh no, now you’re self-concious about it. Stop clenching your fists. What’s the first performer’s name again? Smarf? That’s not a name. That can’t be it. Why are you raising your arms? Put your arms down!
In this one-off online session, multi-hyphenate comedian (and noted A+ host) Amanda McQueen will walk you through how to lead an audience through a show, bringing out your best authentic, silly, likeable self.
Prerequisite: None!
