Advanced Toolkit: Applied Scenework

Ready to level up your improv? Enjoy a 4 week session where you’ll first sharpen specific tools to supercharge your scene work—and then put them to the test in longform montage sets!

If you’ve ever found yourself feeling stuck in a scene, unsure how to bring more energy or develop a character that really pops, this class is for you. Over four weeks, we’ll focus on advanced tools to break through those barriers:

  • Mastering the art of rescuing scenes when everything feels like it’s going sideways.

  • Building characters that feel alive and layered instead of one-dimensional.

  • Creating vibrant environments that support the story and keep the audience engaged.

  • Developing game-of-the-scene tactics that keep you from wandering aimlessly and add momentum to your scenes.

Longform experience is required. Expect tons of practice, personalized feedback, and the thrill of applying what you’ve learned on stage. By the end, you’ll be ready to rock your own longform troupe and bring your improv game to the next level—so you can keep creating killer shows, week after week!
